Bernardo Montesanti Almeida
Medical Director
Bernardo is responsible for medical, epidemiological, and public health at Hilab. In addition to being our Medical Director, he also works as a physician at the Hospital Epidemiology Service and the Adult Urgency and Emergency Unit at Hospital de Clínicas - UFPR.
Bernardo has a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (2007), a residency in Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine at Hospital de Clínicas - UFPR (2010), and in Infectology at Hospital de Clinicas - UFPR (2014). Bernardo has experience in the field of Medicine, with an emphasis on Internal Medicine and Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. He also has experience in HIV epidemiology, with an emphasis on epidemiological surveillance and public health interventions, and develops projects in the area.
