How does the Hilab CBC work?

We use microscopy to determine hematological parameters (RBC, WBC, and platelet series) in blood samples collected by fingerprick. For this purpose, we only require a few drops of blood (90 μL).

When is a CBC ordered?

The complete blood count (CBC) is a blood test used to evaluate the concentration of various blood components, including red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), and platelets.

Through it, the doctor can diagnose various diseases and assess the clinical condition of illnesses that affect the blood, such as anemias, inflammations, infections, and certain chronic diseases.
